Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?
You will need a set of 5lb-10lb dumbbells, a stability ball, and an exercise mat. You can find these items at Wal-Mart or Target. In addition, please bring a bottle of water every time. A towel is optional, but nice to have.

Is there a refund policy?
There are no refunds. We can only give you a credit towards another session of boot camp if you are unable to continue with the one you began because of circumstances beyond your control. This credit is nontransferable. Credit is not given towards private training.

If I miss a day, can I make it up another time?
There are no make-up days, excluding days of inclement weather. If this happens we'll discuss what the options are.

Will I be sore?
Expect to be sore from time to time, especially if you have not worked out recently. This is all part of the journey towards a stronger and healthier you.

Will I get some help with my nutrition?
Twice this month you will have the opportunity to attend a 1 hr nutrition seminar. Kjell will also provide you with a nutrition packet.

If I only sign up for 2 days, but decide later that I want to come more, can I?
Of course! We'll just prorate the cost from the day you start coming more.

What is the Pre-Camp Evaluation?
Kjell will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. She does not care what the measurements show; it’s strictly for post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence. She will also record your weight and measure body fat percentage. In addition, there will be a push up test, sit-up test, and a mile test.

What if I am unable to run?
Some of you will not be able to run because of knee problems, back problems, etc. Please do not let any of the activities discourage you. Just make it a fast walk!

Remember…. NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing. There will be women of all shapes and sizes, ages, fitness levels, etc. This program is about coming together in a fun, outdoor environment where you can push each other, make new friends, and improve your health.
